Music represents the essence of my existence-my foundation and my inspiration.
I am Jackson Deering, a professional singer, songwriter, producer and composer raised in Minnesota and currently based in Los Angeles.
I graduated summa cum laude from Berklee College of Music with a Bachelor of Arts(BA) in 2023 and Master of Arts(MA) in 2025, joining distinguished alumni such as Charlie Puth, John Mayer, Diana Krall and Quincy Jones. At 23, I bring both a fresh perspective and developed expertise to the field.
While embracing all aspects for musical creation-performance, composition, songwriting, and production- I have been recognized by industry professionals and educators for my distinctive ability to create visually evocative music. My creative approach involves authentic expression without constraints.
My compositions embody the full spectrum of human experience and emotional depth. Currently, I am focused on exploring Cinematic Pop, an emerging genre that allows me to construct multi layered sonic landscapes. This approach creates immersive musical narratives that blend auditory and visual elements.

Professional Timeline
Age 5 (2008): Began composing songs with words on piano and began music lessons
Age 9 (2012): Demonstrated early musical aptitude by performing Muse The 2nd Law: Isolated System by ear on piano
Age 11 (2014): Selected for Minnesota Boychoir Cantabile traveling choir (2014-2021) participating in national and international tours
Age 11 (2014): Initiated work with digital sampling using Serato software
Age 14 (2017): Created original works with Garageband software
Age 15 (2018): Commenced studies at Berklee College of Music, recipient of the Juan Luis Guerra scholarship, earned Ableton Certification
Age 16 (2021): Attended Saint Paul Conservatory for the Performing Artists, graduated 2021
Age 20 (2023): Graduated BA, Berklee College of Music, Bachelor of Arts in Electronic Music Production and Sound Design, Summa Cum Laude
